the trailer of the movie is decieving, the movie I think is awesome it had the thrill of the driving, but it's one of those movies where you sit and think! not all action, acting was amazing and interesting to see a movie with a story!

The film starts off with a great scene that gives us a look at the night life of Gosling's character. We learn he's an anti-social mechanic who works as a wheel-man for some shady characters. After forming a relationship with a woman down he hall, he inadvertently enters into a love triangle that sees him make a risky decision that was made with good intentions. Ultimately that decision puts him and those around him on the hit list of a larger group of full-time criminals. Drive has its moment of slowness, but the violence comes out of nowhere and snowballs as we watch Gosling's character drive into situations that are way over his head.
