Incredible performances from the two leads and the ending really made me think.

    Masters of the Universe

Good acting for once by Jarod Leto, but the attempts at jokes, way over the top innuendos, and constant meme references kind of ruined it.

I laughed at this movie. It was the best movie I’ve seen in a long time.

    Backrooms

This movie does a good job at making you feel uneasy with the atmosphere, but its definitely enhanced if you're already familiar with the backrooms and this type of horror. The review saying that they had to check ChatGPT to tell them the plot, or others not explaining why they leave 1 star shows you a lot about the people rating this low.

    Exit 8

This movie was fantastic, i watched it and it was a phenomenal adaptation of the game. It won an award for editing, and it was well deserved. anyone who is a fan of liminal space horror or paradox type things will LOVE this movie. though it may not be everyone cup of tea because of there being a lot of metaphorical stuff, anyone with eyes to see just how well written and produced this is will be enjoying this whole movie. saw some other people saying how this movie had zero plot and they are so so so wrong, the movie is based off a relatively simple game -game with the same name- that has very limited lore, but the person who created this movie was able to add a storyline for the viewer to follow that doesn't hinder their ability to have the original game concept shown. I must say this again because i just loved it so much, THE EDITING! THE CINEMATOGRAPHY! THE MUSIC DESIGN! they are all insanely well done, as an artist myself, I was amazed at how everything came together so perfectly. There are many scenes where I found myself at the edge of my seat just flabbergasted at how well it was shot, as well as curious as to how they even managed to shoot it. i will try to avoid spoilers here but near the start of the movie there is a very long scene of the main character walking through a subway. We see the shot go from first person to third person seamlessly, it shows us so much insight into the main character's personality without a single cut, and without a single word being said. This was the very first shot of the movie, and I was already extremely happy that I went out to watch it. There is also the colour choice of the movie is amazing; they are limited to a white subway colour theme for most of the movie. Artistically, it makes all the scenes where you're suddenly not in a dim white space pop so much more. It won't let me type much more but the MUSIC DESIGN! so insanely well done. I could write an essay about how so well done it was.

    Masters of the Universe

It’s like the cartoon from the 80s brought to life. Can’t wait to see it again!

    Masters of the Universe

I thought it was written by a 10 year old. The HR women was the only bright spot in the film. I have never seen the original cartoon so I han no reference there.

    Masters of the Universe

The dialogue and script is just too cringe at times. Jerod Leto played Skeletor well. He stole every scene he was in. The movie would've been much better had it went with the tone of the 200X cartoon. The 80s cartoon served its purpose but MOTU is much more than that freakin cartoon. The action scenes were fun and the sound effect during those scenes were spot on. However, the movie tries too hard to be funny and I found myself checking the time.

Action packed, lots of reference to the original material, a bit corny but that's what the 80's cartoon was like.
