In a post-rapture woodland tribe, a woman to be sacrificed to burnt humanoid creatures, escapes and exacts her revenge. A mysteriously strange film with an unexplained and totally anachronistic outside influence that left me questioning everything while watching our violent and destructive protagonist go from hapless victim to savage avenger. Samara Weaving is great, the world building was impressive, and the action is relentless, although a bit contrived at times. Good, brutal fun ..and that ending, wow! I'll remember that for awhile.
