Wow, this movie was pretty amazing I have to say. Some says its slow, the pacing is deliberate for the movie, it happens over a long stretch of time. You really get into each charater. Powerfull scenes as simple as they may first appear, my girl and I were really pleased and kinda felt sad coming out of there...go see it.

It was the most queer & boring couple hours ever. kinda like parties thrown by Arts majors back in university. fun for some, bad for most

This movie reminded me that I am quite fed up of these blockbuster films with too much action scenes. Some people complained that the movie was too slow, and yet for me, I savored every moment and wanted more. Great cast with great performances.

It was an amazing tale of love, in it`s most raw and honest form.

The movie was great, but the book is better. I did not know why the movie had to show Jake Gyllenhaal`s character being indiscreet with Heath Ledger`s when he could not get fulfilled with man-to-man sex. Otherwise, it was a great movie and all the main characters - Anne Hatheway, Michelle Williams, Jake Gyllenhaal, especially Heath Ledger - did great jobs and their performances delivered. I wish the movie will get nods at `Golden Globe` and `Oscar`. Great job Ang Lee!

This movie was awesome. It is a compelling story that shows the love of two men, but more importantly how they deal with that in a society that does not tolerate it at all. Stellar performance from Heath Ledger, and Michelle Williams...This one is deep, make sure you watch it!
