A love story with lots of potential - how could you go wrong with an Ang Lee film? But this movie does go wrong, from the moment these characters are alone together. I didn`t know whether to be more angry with Lee for discrediting intimate STRAIGHT male relationships, or to be angry with him for trivializing gay male relationships. Lee does not appear to realize the message that this movie could convey to the average movie viewer, who is not as well versed and comfortable with this topic as a gay man or woman might be. This movie deeply touches my heart, the bottom of my heart. It has made me re-look my life, and re-adjust myself. The emotions are so true that you forget it`s movie.
