This film is being promoted by the East Coast set merely for the obvious political reasons. What they need to do is to create one that is not so long and so boring and that does not involve cheating and then try to promote that. This film will get all the usual awards for all the usual wrong reasons.

This is the most beautiful and yet gut-wrenching film I have seen in years. I have seen it three times, and each time it has brought me to tears and left me totally wrung out - that such a rare and tremendous passion between two people must be doomed by their circumstances. An incredible job by both Heath and Jake, masterfully directed by Ang Lee.

I`ve seen it twice already and will probably go again. The best movie that I`ve seen in a long time. Every aspect of the movie is amazing from the writing to the acting and it`s visually stunning to watch!!!

I`ve seen the movie 7 times and I loved it each time. It is the most emotionally provoking movie I have seen-EVER. It is powerfully played by two gifted actors (Heath and Jake) who made the movie what is is, and I could not think of who could portray Ennis and Jack so well. Ang Lee direction has put Brokeback Mountian in a catagory all on it`s own. Beautiful.
