The film profoundly and apolitically lifts what the world is like behind the eyes of the tortured and abused male soul to a previously unexplored height. It is an island of understanding in a sea of films that have little understanding and more condemnation of what it means to navigate the unique challenges of being a man. Maybe the finest ever made. Anenome is a brave triumph.

Not bad. I never found it boring. It deals with a lot of troubles that many have faced. It is hard to believe any one person could have suffered that much in so many different ways.

Watched the movie for DDL, as everything he does is brilliant.
Movie is slow and mediocre at best - not sure if I would even watch on streaming in the future.
