How Stella Got Her Groove Back Overview

Based on the best-selling novel by Terry McMillan (with over two million copies in print), the film tells the tale of a 40-year-old African-American woman whose life is changed when she takes a spur-of-the-moment trip to Jamaica. Once down in the land of jerk chicken and Red stripe beer, she meets the man of her dream who's only half her age. As they say, 'It's better to rob the craddle than the grave.'
