Monkeybone Overview

Successful cartoonist Stu (Brendan Fraser) is on the verge of the best years of his life. He has a wonderful girlfriend named Julie (Bridget Fonda) and his hit comic strip, Dark Town, starring the mischievous Monkeybone, is about to be released as a cartoon.

But after a freak accident in a telephone booth, Stu falls into a coma. In a world between the dead and the living, many of Stu's creations come to life, including Monkeybone. With only limited time, Stu must escape death (Whoopi Goldberg) and return to his body, where his girlfriend is patiently waiting for him.

But Monkeybone threatens his plan of escape by taking control of Stu's consciousness and living in the real world.
