An aging Robin Hood (Hugh Jackman) is a battle-scarred outlaw, haunted by the violence and legend that define him. Far from the heroic myth, he lives in isolation as a man burdened by his past. When Little John (Bill Skarsgård) approaches him with a final "adventure" tied to a messy domestic conflict, Robin reluctantly agrees.
The encounter leaves him gravely wounded and on the brink of death. He is taken to a remote cliff-top convent, where Prioress Brigid (Jodie Comer) takes him in and attempts to heal him. In recovery, Robin is forced into a reckoning with his past and the reality of his legacy.
