    The following links provide descriptions of the various Provincial/Territorial rating systems in use in Canada.

    MPAA Ratings MPAA Logo
    The following are from the Motion Picture Association of America's (MPAA) voluntary rating system. Whenever possible, FilmCan will try and provide the appropriate Provincial Rating for your region. We will include the MPAA Logo MPAA Logo to denote whenever the Provincial rating is not available.

    G GENERAL AUDIENCES All ages admitted.
    PG PARENTAL GUIDANCE SUGGESTED Some material may not be suitable for children.
    PG-13 PARENTS STRONGLY CAUTIONED Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
    R RESTRICTED Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.
    NC-17 NO ONE 17 AND UNDER ADMITTED
